What do you mean by a collapsed foot?

The term collapsed foot is used to describe several different foot shapes. Sometimes it refers to a low arch on the inside of the foot, such as with flat feet. Sometimes someone means splayfoot or forefoot complaints. These situations are not the same. Therefore, tell us where you feel discomfort and whether your feet or shoe size have recently changed.

A different foot shape requires a different fit

When your forefoot needs more space, simply choosing a longer shoe is not always comfortable. The heel may then slip. We look at length, width and closure together. The depth of the shoe also matters when you use your own orthotics. At Hafkamp, you can try multiple models and widths so you can feel the difference yourself.

What does the free 3D foot scan show?

The scanner helps us view the shape of your feet as part of personalized shoe advice. A scan image does not automatically determine that you need orthotics and does not establish a medical cause. We discuss what you want to improve and then try shoes or additional support if necessary. The appointment takes place at Stationsstraat 62 in Almere and lasts 30 minutes.

A foot that suddenly changes

Have a new, painful change in the arch of the foot or a noticeable change in one foot assessed by a doctor. This is especially important in cases of swelling, reduced sensation or an existing condition for which you receive foot care. We can help you find suitable shoes that align with a treatment plan. If you already use podotherapeutic orthotics, bring them with you.
